RYAN STARK '19 Recruiting Profile

My earliest memories I have are in a church and on a baseball diamond! A field made up of make shift bases in the backyard or on the red dirt in a park, a worship service in a building or a devotional at someone’s home that is where I grew up.  Those two things are what makes me look forward to my future.  I have eagerly waited to play at the next level since I started playing ball at 4 years old; now the next level is college. I have worked really hard to get to this point and I will continue to work just as hard to reach the next goal.  I am focused, coachable, and loyal not only to my team but also to my coaches.  I believe that having these attributes would make me a great fit for any ball club.  I want to share the love I have for the game with others and will major in Athletic Coaching with a minor in History.  I was homeschooled until my freshman year and learned at an early age that there is joy in sharing your knowledge with others.  I believe that “quality over quantity” is a good rule and I understand that when I go to practice that I need to focus on why I am there and nothing else. I have always been ambitious to play, to practice, and even workout and I do all three with the quality my coach expects of me. I have had adversity in the classroom as well as on the ballfield and have worked to prove myself in both areas.  I am currently at a 95.1 GPA and the top of the leader board for batting so far this season.  God has blessed me with an ability to play this awesome game and I look forward to the next level of play!
