FINALLY RELEASED AS OF 8-14-2024 Looking forward to getting back on the mound at full strength.
After careful consideration I have decided that taking a gap year was the best option for me, I will reclassify as a C/O 2025. During my gap year I will be taking class at our local junior college while working out 4 days a week with my pitching coach Trey Robledo at DST in San Antonio, Texas. I’ve accepted these injuries and will get back to 100%. It‘s not the path I wanted to take but I will achieve my goal of pitching at the college level. I’m a hard worker and have worked my tail off during the last couple months. While injured I supported my teammates and continued to be a great team player and worked out doing what I could to stay active. I graduated this past May and my love and passion for baseball still burns inside me. I look forward to reaching out to and making contact with college coaches these next few months. If all goes as planned I should be back on the mound in 2025. Until then i will keep getting bigger, stronger and faster.
Hello coaches my name is Richard Ray Gonzales and I’m a 4 sport athlete from Sabinal, Texas. I have a love for all sports but my passion is baseball. At an early age I knew I wanted to play baseball at the highest level. In the 4th grade I was given an assignment to write down what I wanted to be when I grew up, I wrote down a professional baseball player. I am a 6’ 2” 170lbs LHP and I am looking for an opportunity to play at the collegiate level. I know I‘m a great candidate for your program because of my confidence, great work ethic and my drive to win. What separates me from other recruits is my willingness to get better on and off the field, my ability to be coached in order to achieve success. I will set the example as a collegiate athlete and student by leading by example in the classroom and on the field. Thank you for your time. Lone Star Prep Top LHP for 2024. South Texas High School Baseball 2A player to watch for 2023. Lone Star Preps top free safety 2024, Lone Star Preps top power forward 2024.
