Cayson Haidusek '28 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cayson Haidusek, and I am a third baseman and corner outfielder from Springtown Highschool and Canes Southwest Herrick. Baseball has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. From my early days of playing in little league to competing at a high school level with Canes Southwest, this sport has not only shaped my character but has also driven me to strive for excellence both on and off the field.

On the field, I pride myself on making routine plays and being a good leader for my team. Beyond statistics, I believe in the importance of teamwork, and I am always ready to step up as a leader, whether by motivating my teammates or contributing to our collective success.

Academically, I maintain the A/B honor roll and I am involved in Springtown Highschool baseball and football programs. Balancing academics with athletics has taught me time management and discipline, skills that I believe will help me thrive at the collegiate level.

Looking ahead, my goal is to play baseball at the D1 level and to continue growing both as a player and as an individual. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to your program, bring my enthusiasm and work ethic to the team, and take on new challenges. I am eager to be a part of a community where I can push myself and my teammates to achieve our best.
