My name is Charles Kunz, I’m from Manchester Vermont. The one thing I try to do is strive to be the best player and student I can be. Whether something comes easy or not I’m willing to put in the work to excel in whatever I put my mind to. I've played baseball since I could walk, well maybe even before that! My family is filled with avid sports fans who have shared with me their passion for the game of baseball. It has fed my desire to play hard and feel the excitement for the game within my own achievements as a player and teammate.
This year has been extremely challenging for all students. Last spring, our high school baseball season was non-existent which was devastating as I was going to play on the varsity team as a sophomore. Additionally, between the pandemic and rainouts, our summer travel team played only a handful of innings. When remote school started in the fall I dedicated myself to my schoolwork more than ever before. I am proud of the work ethic I applied to my studies, time management, and seeking out help from teachers when I needed it. I have grown academically as a result of hard work and focus. During this year I was determined to come out stronger and I have. Baseball tryouts have begun, I am proud to be going into the season with a solid academic standing. It's great to be back with my baseball family.
