Personal Statement

My parents have always instilled in me the need to work hard, be responsible, and be my own person. They have taught me that what you want most you have to work for and that true achievement does not come easy. I have applied these lessons to my life both academically and athletically. I am looking to attend a college or university that is going to continue to challenge me both in the classroom and on the field.

I believe that team success always outweighs individual recognition. I have worked hard to become a leader on both my travel and high school teams and feel I not only possess the skills to play at the college level, but the leadership and work ethic to positively impact any team.

Quigley is 5-9 with an athletic frame that has strength present and projection left to it. He hits from the right side from an open balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, loads in place. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, very short to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path, has some strength at contact, showed a good approach using the whole field, has some power present in the gaps, exit velocity was 86. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with a good wide base with above average hands, works through the ball to a clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 75.
