Hey coaches,
My name is Terrance McGowan and i am the class of 2021 and i go to school at Atlantic Shores Christian School in Chesapeake, Virginia. I've always loved baseball and I've always played other sports. But, what made me decide to only play baseball was the uniqueness in this sport and how fun it is. This sport to me is an example for life; you will always have bad games but it is how you get up that matters and that goes to life as well. That is why i love this sport and put my all into every game that i play because it could be my last. In 2017 i tore my cartilage in my knee; I kept doubting myself if i could ever go back to the sport the same, or be able to still have some athleticism. But i thought to myself would it hurt to try? Now, Here I am today with the help of my parents, coaches, and teammates that push me everyday to be better than yesterday. My main goal is to get a free college tuition so i can study whatever i put my mind to. I have a 3.2 GPA and I think my work ethic and talent would be a great fit for any school that I decide to go to.
