Jacob Ferguson '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jake Ferguson and I am a middle infielder from WT Woodson High School in Fairfax, Virginia. I started every game on varsity my sophomore season at second base, and my junior year was named a team captain and started at shortstop. I have played baseball since I was 3 years old and it has been a lifelong passion of mine ever since.

I have always had the goal of playing college baseball because I would love to pursue my childhood passion at the next level.  I have always been a firm believer that my faith comes first, and then baseball. I also believe that not enough young men in my generation are stepping up to help our country. My family has instilled in me strong Christian and patriotic values, and these have been foundational elements in my life. I would love to play baseball in college, and then after my baseball career finished, I would love to serve my country.
