Aidan McGlothlin '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello- My name is Aidan McGlothlin. I am currently a junior at Narrows High School. I am 6 foot and 150 pounds. I am a right handed hitter and thrower. Primarily, I play middle infield at second and short, but I consider myself a utility player that can play any position, even catcher and outfield. I also pitch. I feel my best pitch is my curve ball and I have confidence to throw it on a 3-2 count. I have been recorded with a spin rate of 2,370.  I have very good command of my fast ball allowing me to spot locations and feed off my curve ball.  Baseball is my favorite sport, and I have a true passion for the game. I have been involved with it since the age of 5. Since that time, I have played recreational ball, Dixie League, Middle School and High School baseball, summer leagues, and travel ball.  All of these levels have allowed me to increase my skills while learning how to work as team player. I have also engaged with other athletes who had a wide variety of skill levels. In addition, I am active in basketball and football. I currently quarterback for the varsity football team at my school. I enjoy many outdoor activities such as  fishing, kayaking, and hiking. In addition, I am active in my local church and youth group. While undecided in a college major at this time, I am interested in possibly a pursuing  a business degree that would allow me to create my own business using small contracting skills or possibly going into drafting or engineering. Another possible field would be criminal science. I am thankful for my parents and my sister who encourage me to work hard in both academics and sports. They are part of the reason why I am where I am today. I look forward to possibly playing baseball at the collegiate level and even aspire to reach father than college, if given the opportunity.
