I started playing baseball when I was 5 years old. Being a part of a team has been an important part of my growth as an athlete. As a baseball player, I’ve learned the importance of hard work, perseverance and learning through failure to reach a goal. Being a student athlete has taught me how to set goals and prioritize my time to achieve what is important to me. I study hard, value getting good grades, and maintaining a high GPA. I seek to build good relationships with my peers and the adults that coach and mentor me. Outside of school I enjoy volunteering my time helping our local little league and spend my summers as an intern for Performance Edge, a local sports training facility. My goal is to continue as a student athlete at the collegiate level. I enjoy mathematics as well as analyzing and solving problems, which has inspired me to pursue a degree in computer science. I am looking for a school that will be the right fit to help me meet my academic goals and baseball aspirations.
