My name is Joshua Robinson and I attend Gar-Field Senior High School in Woodbridge, Virginia. I am looking forward to continuing an excellent high school career not only on the field, but in the classroom as well. I am looking to excel in my academics so I can attend the college that is best fit for me. I want to major in computer science in college because I enjoy working with computer programs and one day would like to work in the cyber security industry.
I know in sports and in life, there will be many ups and downs and what you put in is what you get out. For this reason, I am dedicating myself in the classroom and to my craft. I understand the importance of being mentally strong when things are not going as planned.
There have been many challenges in my life that I have had to overcome in order to accomplish my goals on the field and academically, but hard work, discipline and dedication have allowed me to succeed. As a child, supporting and contributing to my teams in any way has made my interest in baseball grow. Baseball has shown me many experiences and has some unexpected outcomes, but in the end, it has helped me become a better person. As a two sport athlete(basketball point guard, freshman team), I believe I can compete at the college level and bring my leadership, work ethic, and character to your program to impact your team as soon as possible.
