My future plans, other than baseball, include attending a university with the goal of receiving a medical degree or a business degree. My desire to work in medicine is in hopes of helping others improve their quality of life in the specialty of Cardiology. Business is another interest and I would like to start my own business one day, maybe a medical practice or a business in one of my other interests such as gaming.
Training is very important in improving baseball skills, and I do this through camps, private lessons and on my own. Fundamentals are the key foundation of any sport, especially baseball, and I practice many hours to improve my footwork, hitting, throwing, and continuously observing all that is happening on the field.
I encourage my team and work at being a good teammate. When on the bench or in the field I encourage each player to do their best and cheer them up when they feel they didn’t do their best. I try to bring humor to the game to try and keep my teammates loose, but am very focused on my play when on the field or preparing for the game.
My skills improve every year and continued improvement is my goal every time I hit the field, in training, and in a game. I work with my teammates to try and help improve since when we all improve it benefits the team as a whole.
I work hard at baseball, school, and in my social life and always do my best no matter what the situation is and I plan to keep up this work ethic as I learn and grow.
