My motto is "Make a Difference." In baseball, that motto means breaking into the starting line-up when I've been underestimated or joining a new team and having to earn a spot. I have become a starter for every team I have played with. Coaches and pitchers recognizing that less runs are scored when I'm in the outfield, my speed and ability to see the ball well means I'm running down balls in the gap, or helping my teammates track down balls they might not have caught because I'm telling them which way to go. It means being a threat and scoring when I get on base.
In life that motto drives my commitment to community service. I have always done at least double the required amount of service hours in my high school. I have been humbled by the underprivileged people that I have worked with, and it makes me appreciate what I have, and what I have to offer.
This motto has also driven my desire to find a career where I can make a difference in people's lives. I am looking for a great school where I can foster my interests in the medical field or possibly in Business to follow my natural Entrepreneurial drive.
I am a highly coachable player, motivated student athlete who is a leader by example and positive teammate on and off the field looking for a good fit both Academically and in a Baseball Program.
