Coaches, I have 2 collegiate goals....1st of all I plan to continue t participate in the National Society of High School Scholars and to continue taking AP classes during my last year of high school in order to get a jump on my collegiate education which will aid me to achieving my goal of receiving my Bachelor's Degree during my 4 years of college in my preferred field of study, Computer Science. My 2nd goal is to play baseball, and I hope to find school that is not only the right fit for me but me being the right fit for the team.
My belief is that I am a good candidate for any team. I have been raised by a police sergeant and a emergency room nurse, which has taught me how to be a team player, and has also taught me discipline. I know grades come first, if I want to play, and my parents hold me to the standard of a 3.5 GPA in order to play ball. I do not want to let the team down by getting my priorities mixed up so i am determined to maintain this requirement my parents have set for me during my collegiate career. I also want to succeed in life, and succeeding in academics will allow me the opportunity to do just that.
I hope that I am no different than other recruits as it pertains to character, athletics and academics, as I believe only those that put forth the effort in the classroom and on the field as a student athlete will only get out what they put in. I WILL give whatever I have to succeed not only for myself but for my teammates.
