Aidan Herd '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Aidan Herd and I’m a three sport Athlete at Orting High School in Washington State.  I play lacrosse, football and wrestling and because I've played these sports for over 8 years I am a excellent and well round athlete and competitor.  It's very important for me to be the best student and athlete I can be. I've learned how to manage my grades and my athletics very well, including additional time to be a team captain for 2 varsity sports and a member of NJHS while maintaining a 3.85 GPA.  While I love all my sports so much, Lacrosse has become the one that holds the highest value to me and the one I really want to continue at the college level.  

From the moment I joined my high school lacrosse team I  have worked hard on improving my team and helping others around me to grow more as players and to overall improve the team. My hard work and helping hand has always been noted and valued by my coaches and fellow teammates and they rewarded me as team caption starting with my first year and every year after. 

Coaches have always played me at middie for my outstanding leadership, stick skills, passing, field-vision, shooting, face-offs, ground ball tenacity, motor and tireless work ethic on the field.  I am most proud of being both a dangerous and reliable player on both offense and defense.
