Personal Statement

I found my passion for baseball early in life and I've played it consistently since I was 8 years old.  Throughout the years, I spent each winter playing basketball and each spring and summer playing baseball.  Both my older sister and I have been multisport athletes most of our lives.

Throughout my athletic career, my family has always put an emphasis on being a good teammate, friend and student-athlete.  I feel that their influence has helped shape me into the leader I am today.

Baseball can be a very humbling sport and through ups and downs over the years I’ve learned to enjoy the process, cherish the successes and learn from my mistakes.  I’ve been given some fantastic opportunities that have allowed me to play all across the country and what I value most is the camaraderie that comes with playing on competitive baseball teams.  I’ve built relationships with the coaches and teammates that will last a lifetime.

As I continue my high school education, my goal is to maintain my high academic standard, which reflects my dedication to my academics.  Although my goal is to play college baseball, my first priority is to obtain an education.  My dream has always been to play college baseball while earning my degree.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
