Baseball is FUN, and when you love something it is never work. This is how I feel about baseball. Even though the game requires tons of determination and effort in workouts and training and forces you through hardships, it will never be work or just another day. Baseball has always been my life and it was incredibly exciting to discover it was a real possibility that I could go on and play further.
However, I have had a set back with Tommy John surgery but it has not stopped me. I am still the first one on the field and the last to leave. Ironically, thanks to physical therapy, I feel stronger than ever and expect my stats to continue to climb and my dream of getting to play college baseball to materialize.
My drive and dependability on the field and in the classroom have gotten me to where I am and I would be honored to play at a college that can challenge me on the field and provide me with the opportunity to fulfill my academic goals.
