As a future prospect in competing at the collage level I feel that I would contribute and help the team by being a positive teammate, making the plays most other kids can't, and bat for average as well as power. What makes me different in character than other players is always being positive and not getting down if I have a bad at bat or a bad play in the field. Also, I want to be the kid at the plate when the game is on the line. One other thing that I think I will bring to a team is that I'm always wanting the ball and wanting to make the play that others can't. In conclusion academics will never hold me back from being able to play because I take all my classes and studies serious and maintain a 3.5-4.0 GPA. I realize that one day, no matter how far an athlete goes, there will come a time they are finished and then a solid education is what will carry them the rest of the way.
