I am a great leader in all of the sports that I participate in. I play four sports, Baseball, Football, Lacrosse, and Wrestling. In Baseball I am the catcher, the leader of the defense. I motivated the team when our good players had to miss games and motivate them to win even though we were losing. During Football, I am not the biggest or strongest, but I play with heart. I have immense knowledge of the game to put myself in the right place to make a play and help the team. Before any game I make sure that my team is motivated to beat the other team, even though on paper it says we are supposed to lose. In Lacrosse I was a midfielder but got switched to goalie during the middle of the season. My coaches put me there because I am such a great leader. Goalies have to manage the defense and put the defenseman in the right place to knock down the ball and get the ball to the offense to score. In wrestling i show leadership by example. I wrestle until i don't have any energy left to give. I motivate my teammates to wrestle until they have no energy left to give. Leaders are the team's base, the foundation of the team. They keep their teammates in line and pick them up when they are down. You could ask my teammates and they will tell you that I am a great leader. In school I am good at math and engineering, so I have decided to study Engineering in college. I chose this path because engineering has to deal with a lot of math equations and it comes easy to me. So when professional sports is no longer an option for me I will have a good back up plan to set me for life. I have been involved in Boy Scouts since first grade. I am currently a Star scout and a patrol leader. I am on my way to being an Eagle scout in a few years to come.
