Tommy Sheehan '21 Recruiting Profile

It has become evident to me through my thirteen plus years of playing baseball that the key to success is accountability. I have put it on myself to become a leader on every team, no matter the sport. Holding myself accountable to improve my performance and leadership is one of the main reasons I have been chosen for team captain and multiple leadership conferences by coaches throughout my high school career.  Through experience, I have witnessed that how I work in the classroom is how I work on the field. My academic success is most important and I will do whatever it takes to reach my academic goals of graduating college, while holding a high GPA to set myself up well for the future. Playing baseball at the college level is important to me to continue doing what I enjoy most and continue exceeding expectations set by past and current coaches. Both my work ethic and ability to be coached has been highlighted by my coaches and teammates, which has prepared me for bigger opportunities. I am excited to continue my baseball and academic journey and to giving my effort to my future teammates, coaches, and staff.
