My name is Zander Hietpas, I am 5' 11” tall and weigh 160 pounds. I play baseball and football but I am most focused on baseball. I am a very hard worker and a leader for my teams. I stay after practices working on small errors and getting extra practice in. I would love to play for a D1 school, but I'm more focused on just being able to play the game. I'd like to play at the highest competitive level on the baseball field as I can, and want to get better as I progress. I can play many positions on the field and am a strong student off the field. I want to continue my education by getting a major in biology or sports medicine so if baseball doesn't work out I will still have something to look forward to. I feel like I would be a strong asset to any team due to the fact that I push myself and my teammates hard to get better as players. I practice and play hard, and I believe in giving my best in everything because you may not get it back. I do not want to miss out on opportunities because I didn't work hard enough to get there. I feel that if I try my hardest, I will get as far in the game as possible and I can achieve many things. I will give 110% of myself to my school, my coaches, my team, and most importantly, the game. I hope to prove many people wrong and want to become the best player I can possibly be.
