Starting as the only freshman on my high school varsity baseball team, I learned both skills and character from my older teammates. I proved that I can step up to the level of play and maturity level of the older guys. I got the chance again when I played as a 15-year-old on an 18U showcase team last fall. I have always excelled among kids my own age, but now I know that I have what it takes to play at the next level.
My name is Oliver Dugas and I'm a Junior at Madison East High School in Wisconsin. I am a multi-sport athlete and honor roll student in advanced-level classes. I have played baseball all my life. For the last six summers, I have played on travel baseball teams. I am now in my third year of high school playing both baseball and basketball. My goal is to play baseball in a college that is also academically challenging.
