Henry Pitsch '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Henry Pitsch. I appreciate your viewing of my online recruitment profile. I am part of the class of 2020 and have started my search for potential colleges. I am looking for a school where I can play baseball while keeping a serious focus on academics. Baseball is my passion and the possibility of playing baseball is on the top of my list of criteria for potential schools. I am still open to many different paths, but I am greatly interested in environmental studies, environmental science, and ecology, and have also thought of psychology is especially interesting. I am a person who likes to keep an active lifestyle. I have been taking honors and AP classes during my underclassman years, and am taking two AP classes my junior year. While keeping my GPA high, I have been doing volunteer work for numerous years, and hope to be in National Honor Society. My work ethic translates to the baseball field as well. I lift weights after school and in the summer, and train on my own time whenever I can. Part of what makes this so fun for me is hanging around people I know and working towards a common goal. If I play for your school, I will come prepared every day to focus on becoming a better player as well as a better person. I try to be as coachable as I can, and will listen to a coach’s instructions and respect his decisions. I pledge to put my full effort into making myself, my teammates, and the program as a whole the best it can be.
