My name is Henry Hansen. Since I was little I've always wanted to play baseball at the collegiate level. I have been involved in many sports; I am currently a three sport athlete in high school, including baseball, wrestling, and football. However, baseball was always my favorite sport. My primary position is catcher, and my secondary position is either utility or 3rd base. I just recently made the high school varsity team as a sophomore. I think what sets me apart from other recruits is that I have a great work ethic. I take extra swings and work on trying to perfect my skills on my own time. I am in the weight room 5 times per week and always work hard to improve my strength. In the classroom, I have a 3.8 GPA all while playing 3 sports all year round. I take school seriously and manage my time well with baseball and other sports. Another attribute I can bring to a team is that I am a great teammate and will do whatever it takes to win. I am always willing to learn new things about the sport of baseball and I believe that I am very coachable. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me, and hopefully you will seriously consider me as a student athlete at your school.
