My dream is to play Major League Baseball. I know that all success starts in the classroom, and that education is the building block for any kind of success in life. I'm willing to do the work in the classroom on/and off the field to become an extraordinary ball player, but more importantly a great person. I approach everything with a positive attitude.
In Wisconsin the season and time we get to be outside playing baseball is too short, but to keep pace with the guys who live where they can play year round I work very hard in the off-season as far as strength training, conditioning and all the general skills. Being competitive and always up for a challenge is my nature. I love being on the side of victory or success, however; I know that in this game you will fail more times than you succeed so I have learned to look at the things I did well and the things that need work. Because I've learned how mental this game really is. I'm really looking forward for the opportunity to compete at the higher levels.
As far as a team mate and my character goes I'd like to say I have many positive traits. The number one thing I pride myself in, besides being a good team mate, is being humble. I'm never the guy to talk about my stats or bash on other peoples stats. I play for the team and I know that if I do my part, the stats will take care of themselves. I encourage feedback and advice from teammates and coaches. I enjoy hearing about the flaws in my game and then working to sharpen them up. Whatever I can do to become an all around better player- I'm up for it! I know a lot about the game of baseball, I've been playing since I was three, and for as long as I play I will give it my all and have no regrets when my career reaches the end of it's journey.
