Will Van Laanen '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Will Van Laanen and I am part of the college recruiting class of 2024.  I am a 2 sport athlete, playing baseball and football.  I have played just about every position on the field but have started to specialize in Centerfield these past few seasons, it seems to be a good fit with my speed and ability to take good angles in the outfield.   My interest in baseball started at a very early age when I realized how my speed and quickness could really set me apart from my competition.   My Dad has instilled in me that hard work beats talent every time and when you have both, the sky is the limit.  My goal is to find a program that I can excel both on the field and realize all my dreams off the field as well.  Being a long time 3 sport athlete has taught me how to prioritize my time and I can see how each sport plays a role in my overall athleticism and work ethic.  Please consider giving me a chance with your program, I can promise you that no one will set a better example of what hard work looks like than me.
