Gino D'Alessio '18 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a junior at Pius XI Catholic High school in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I have been the starting varsity catcher for Pius since freshman year. I was an all-conference player both my freshman and sophomore year. I am currently training at BRX Performance in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. My main goal is to play Division I baseball. This has been a goal of mine since I began watching college baseball as a young kid. Baseball is a very important part of my life, but academics is my first priority. I currently have a cumulative GPA of 4.2, and I plan on continuing that through high school and college. I will continue to use my knowledge of baseball and my work-ethic to further improve my game. Even though my primary position is catcher, I also play 3rd base. I am definitely interested in playing 3rd at the collegiate level, and I fully believe I have the ability to do so. In my baseball career so far, I have been inviting to play for the Wisconsin All-Star team twice. Both these tournaments were hosted in Indiana. Because of my play at these tournaments, I was also invited to play for the Junior All-Tournament Team. I am also currently training at BRX Performance. I have been training there for 4 months, and have already improved all aspects of my game immensely. I am planning on entering a showcase in May that Styx baseball is hosting, so my numbers will be updated shortly.
