Cole Peterson '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a hard working leader and student athlete with a passion for baseball.  Achieving success has been something that I have worked for all my life.  Working hard in school was important to me and showed in both the caliber of classes that I have taken through all of my school years in addition to the grades that I have achieved in those classes.  Those academic achievements have landed me in the position of going into my Senior year of high school having a 3.5 overall GPA (unweighted) while taking upper level courses like AP Calculus, AP Psychology, and AP Chemistry to name a few.  I am very proud of my academic achievements but even more so that I have done so while giving back to my community through community service volunteering and by being a 3 sport athlete.  In my 3 years of high school, I have over 80 hours of community service.  I have played competitively in the following high school sports:  baseball, hockey, golf, and soccer.  Baseball is certainly my passion.

With the encouragement of my teachers in addition to my coaches, I have stepped up to be a leader in school and in sports.  My baseball coach has already asked me to be a captain of the baseball team in the spring season.  As a lead off left handed hitter, left fielder, and second baseman I am ready to continue my leadership in school and on the field with my fellow students and fellow teammates.

Playing college baseball would be a great achievement but also bring me great joy.  I have been playing ball since I was 4 years old.  This year I played high school ball, Legion ball, travel ball, and continued with a consistent work out regime.  I tried out, and made, the MN Blizzard fall silver team.

I’m ready to continue my strong academic performance while continuing to feed the passion that I have for playing baseball.
