My name is Gannon Goldensoph. I am a left handed hitting Sophmore catcher at Solano Jr. College in Fairfield, CA. I attended high school in Oak Creek, WI , playing catcher for a state semifinalist team. Over the summer I played in the Golden State Collegiant Wood bat baseball league. I put up the following statistics over the summer:
OBP = .468 (1st on team)
SLG = .865 (2nd on team)
OPS = .865 (2nd on team)
Avg = .266 (3rd on team)
HR = 2 (1st on team)
CS = Threw out 7 runners for the season
I have maintained a 3.3 G.P.A. while in college while persuing a degree in Environmental Science.
Even though I have played a variety of positions in the past, being a catcher is my focus and desire. I know what it takes to become a great catcher. Because I am dedicated, work hard, and seek out ways to improve, I am confident that I will be an outstanding college catcher.
