Erik Lehmann '20 Recruiting Profile

The word I like to use for both my athletic and academic aspirations is the word, "excel". The ability to excel is an important word for me as it helps me reach my best potential in the classroom, on the field, and in relationships with others. However, excelling is much easier said then done as I have learned first handed. Everything is earned; not given and I believe I have learned that life lesson from my own experience.  It takes a select few to put in their best effort, and squeeze out that extra work to reach excellence; which I know I am made for. Whatever coach and university gives me the opportunity to enroll as a student-athlete will receive a person who knows that everything is earned, and through tons of quality work, we can reach our optimum potential of excellence. I believe I am tough-minded and a student-athlete who brings a great energy that helps people around me reach their own level of excellence too. I am motivated and willing to give 100% for whatever the coach needs out of me.
