Ben Hauser '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ben Hauser and I am from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. I am currently a junior at Sun Prairie High School. I am a committed 4.0 student and a three sport high school athlete. Along with playing baseball, I am a member of the basketball and football teams. I am a very hard worker and take great pride in always striving to do the best I can in all that I do. I am a positive role model and leader on and off the field.

As a three sport high school athlete I have not focused solely on baseball.  However, I feel that in the long run being involved in other sports will benefit me.  I have not been able to attend many showcase events or national exposure tournaments because of being a three sport athlete, but did have the opportunity to be a member of the 2015 Chicago White Sox Underclass Area Code team.  This was a tremendous experience where I was able to compete with and against some of the best players in the nation.  Ultimately, I have aspirations of playing baseball at the highest level.

I come from an athletic family, as both of my parents played college athletics.  My dad was a Division 1 baseball player, is a former college baseball coach, and is currently a college athletic director.  My mom was a multi-sport college athlete as well. My goal is to follow in their footsteps and have a great experience, as they did, in college athletics.

I will continue to work towards improving as a student and as an athlete in order to achieve my goals.
