Luis Aguilar '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Luis! I am a 4 year cheerleader at Kennedy and current Cheer Captain of the 2022-2023 season! I started off freshman year as a secondary base but by the time of competition season, I became a back spot. I've had 0 experience when I joined cheer (except for basic tumbling) but putting myself into a new sport was the best decision ever. What makes me a good candidate is that I am very eager to teach and learn skills that I know would push my team onto a new level. The 2022 season has been the best so far, seeing how far my team has come even with difficulties and obstacles. I would say my personality and commitment sets me aside from other recruits. I try my best to put myself out there and make new friends and experience new opportunities. I would go home after every practice and try to see what I can do to make my team better.
