Cheerleading has been a passion of mine ever since I was 6. I knew the second I stepped into a cheer gym that this was a sport that I had wanted to pursue. I have won many national championships including Cheersport when I was only 8 years old. I then went on to win grand championships at All Out. I then went on to place third at The Summit for three years in a row. This past year my team and I won UCA Nationals and placed third at the World Championship.
Despite all of these accomplishments, the main thing that cheerleading has taught me is how to be determined and extremely self disciplined. It has created a schedule and has made it easier to learn time management and has also helped me be more of a team player and a better leader. It has made me continually push myself not just for myself but for my team mates as well to bettering my team. Cheer has also created an extreme mental toughness for me and has made an imprint in my mind that i can achieve anything that I work hard enough for.
I’m looking foward to finding a school that can help me excel and continue my passion for cheerleading.
