Halle Edghill '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Halle Edghill, and I am currently a Senior at Law Enforcement Officers Memorial High School. I am interested in pursuing studies in relation to criminology or performing arts. In elementary I was enrolled in cheerleading and dance and still dance today with my school's dance team. I participated in cheerleading briefly in elementary school, then decided to start cheerleading competitively in high school.

I am currently a cheerleader for Idol Rams Cheer as a back spot. I love working with my team. Not only do I love gaining and improving on my own skills, but I also love to see my teammates gain skills they have worked hard to achieve. I am dedicated and work to improve myself. I am optimistic and always want what is best for my team. I am truly proud to be a part of the team I am on and our achievements. 

I believe in always striving to be the best you can be for yourself and for your team. For this reason, I do my best to compete against myself by putting in 100% effort to improve after every competition. I try not to get disheartened when I do not execute a skill that I am working on as masterfully as I would like to in that moment by reminding myself that practice does not make perfect; it makes progress.
