Sofiabella Amirante '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sofiabella Amirante and I am going into my sophomore year at Barrington High School. As a retired gymnast of 11 years, cheerleading came rather naturally to me, and ever since I started last year, I absolutely fell in love with the sport.  This upcoming season I will be the only underclassman on the varsity team and I am very excited to see what opportunities this experience brings me. This accomplishment has made me aspire for bigger goals, such as college cheerleading. I believe that through hard work and dedication, I can make this goal a reality. Among my peers, I try to be encouraging, and push them to be the best possible versions of themselves. I try my best to be a leader, and always remain optimistic, even when remaining optimistic seems difficult. On another note, academically, I am undecided on what field I want to go into, however,  I still remember that school comes first before athletics, and always try my hardest with studies. Overall, if I keep doing my best and being the best version of myself, working hard, and staying focused, I believe I would be a great fit for college cheerleading.
