Hi, my name is Hannah Howell and I am a senior student at Unity High School in Mendon Illinois, Class of 2022. I have been a Basketball Cheerleader for three years and a Football Cheerleader for four years throughout high school. Although I have grown up going to a small high school, I am still a strongly dedicated cheerleader and want to pursue this in college. Not only have I done Basketball Cheerleading in high school, but as well as my seventh and eighth grade year of middle school. I am capable of pursuing in all spots of a build, but being a back spot is what I consider my strongest area. With all of this being said, my personality throughout cheer also takes a huge role in my cheerleading capabilities. I am a motivated individual who always seems to have a smile on my face no matter the situation and being energetic is one of my favorite actions. Even though a build or cheer does not go the way it could have went, I still proceed to try it again and not give up. Dealing with my student academics, I have received a student academic achievement award all four years and am confident to say I am an A-B letter grade student. I take pride in not only my cheerleading, but as well as my school work and only want the best work ethic. Future wise, I want to confidently succeed in the nursing field. This is mainly because I enjoy helping others and care a lot about how others feel. I am known for my positive outlook on others and putting them before myself. To conclude my personal statement, I want to have positive outcomes overall as a cheerleader, student, and future nurse.
