For the past 7 years cheerleading has been my passion and my commitment. I’ve not only dedicated myself to this sport, but I‘ve also excelled at it, having the privilege of being on varsity for three years during my high school journey.
Cheerleading has taught me the value of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. It’s a sport that demands not only physical prowess but also mental resilience. These qualities have not only shaped me as an athlete but also laid the foundation for my academic and career aspirations.
My interest in cheerleading is closely intertwined with my desire major in exercise science. I’ve always been fascinated by the human body, and how it functions, especially during rigorous physical activities. My experience in cheerleading has provided my with first hand understanding of the importance of physical conditioning and injury prevention.
As I look ahead to my college years, I am excited to combine my passion for cheerleading and academic pursuit of exercise science. I believe that with my dedication, work ethic, and ability to thrive under pressure, which I’ve developed through cheerleading, will serve me well in both studies and any future involvement with cheer.
I am confident that my unique journey as a cheerleader has prepared me for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead and I am eager to continue my academic and athletic journey.
