Hello College Coaches. I'm Jakari Brown and I'm currently a varsity cheerleader for Peabody Magnet High School in Alexandria, LA. I will be entering 12th grade in the fall (August 2022) and this will be my 4th year on the cheer team. My goals are to be apart of a collegiate team that not only makes me stronger but makes my teammates stronger too. I want to be included in a team that feels like a family. Apart of being a cheerleader means to lead by example. I want to represent a collegiate team in the best way possible. I have leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills. I also have the ability to work with others and even learn from them. Being an athlete is important but my academics are just as important. I am an honors student and rank #1 in my class. I take Pre-AP classes and are enrolled in Dual Enrollment classes through Southern A&M College of Baton Rouge, LA. I do understand that my academics reflect me as a person and I want to be able to not only showcase my talents as a cheerleader but as an amazing student as well.
