Hello, my name is Campbell McGuire and I’m a junior at North Andover High School in Massachusetts. I started cheerleading in the 3rd grade for my town’s youth cheer program, while I was also involved in Club gymnastics. My freshman year of high school I decided to walk away from club gymnastics and focus on Cheerleading my true love. I made the high school varsity team as a freshman and we've made it to the State championship for the three years I've been a part of the team. I am excited to be names a captain for my final high school season. I also joined an elite cheer team at Cheerletics Royalty in Georgetown, Massachusetts. My first year at Cheerletics Royalty I was placed on a level 5 XSmall junior team and won a full paid bid to the All Star World Championship where we were ranked 4th in world. When I was younger participating in youth cheer I was a flyer and a main base, I grew a lot right before entering high school and have been a back spot ever since. During the 2023 Cheerletics season there was an injury on our level 3 team and with less than 12 hours I was asked to learn their routine and compete at a Maximum cheer comp. During this particular competition we won the At Large bid for the All Star World Championship. It was an honor to be chosen to help out their team and I loved the challenge. I remained on this team for the season and competed with them at All Star Worlds. I loved being on both cheer teams, I spent a lot of time doing what I love most. This year I was selected to compete on a level 4 International U17 and level 6 XSmall Limited team at Cheerletics Royalty. I am also a student coach for my town’s youth competitive cheer teams and thoroughly enjoyed volunteering my time to teach “my littles” side line cheers, competition routines and share in my love for cheerleading. It is a challenge being on three cheer teams in the fall while also coaching and keeping my grades, but I'm proud I have all A in my academic classes.
I’m excited to cheer at the collegiate level and believe I would make a great addition to your team, I love being on a team and as a dedicated athlete with a strong foundation in cheerleading, I believe my skills, passion, and commitment to school spirit make me an ideal candidate to contribute significantly to your program.
