Personal Statement
Personal goal is to join a D1 Tumbling and Acro team. Tumbling is my passion; I’ve tumbled since age 8. Although I’ve never been on a cheerleading team, tumbling comes as naturally me as walking, and Tumbling and Acro is an exciting, emerging college sport.
Currently I am #1 in Michigan at the Advanced level of USTA Tumbling. Due to illness, I was not able to attend USTA Nationals this year, although I am planning on competing at AAU Nationals as an independent in July.
I have a number of AAU gold and silver medals in tumbling and was on the National team in 2016. Took a break for high school sports, Diving and Skiing, but came back to Tumbling with the ambition for college and/or World Cup level performance.
Long term, my goal is medical school, so a challenging academic environment is critical to my motivation and performance.
