Personal Statement

My dreams both academically and athletically are attainable with the proper determination and guidance.   I aspire to be the first to graduate college in my family and make a difference for myself, my teammates, family, and strangers.  Although making that difference and reaching college goals will be tedious and stressful, I have my sport to alleviate the stress.  Cheerleading has been my outlet for 12 years.  After watching my older sister, who was always been my inspiration, I knew I wanted to be a cheerleader.

Through the years of being a cheerleader, I have learned how to push my limits without stepping over the line, I've learned patience, teamwork, commitment, and, most importantly, how to trust.  When it comes to my athletics, I've learned that you have to trust both your coaching staff and teammates, they all want the best for you!  This quality makes me different from others because the positivity radiates onto my teammates, resulting in a calm and fun environment.  This is important to me because performing in a negative space is not the right path to success.  I aspire to be the difference in someone else's life!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
