Miranda Hawley '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a third-generation cheerleader, and cheerleading opened a door to friendships and community after moving to a new town.  It has been a great source of joy and fun, all while enjoying the challenge of learning new things. Stunting is my favorite activity and I love challenging myself to do harder and harder ones. I also am currently pushing myself with my tumbling skills, by enrolling in an ongoing tumbling class. I recently joined my local all star level 2 cheer team called Gem City in Quincy Illinois and have been loving it! I love engaging kids with a wave, smile, or conversation and seeing how special that makes them feel. I work hard in school, in my job, and in cheer and I love the challenge of balancing it all.
