Hi Coaches, My name is Mia Zdanowicz I have been cheerleading since I was 3 years old, right now I am 18 years old from Brick, New Jersey. I have had a striving passion for both aspects of cheerleading, sideline and competitive since I was 3. I’ve always looked forward to basketball and football games and the pre performance jitters while being on a competition team. I am a Base, main or side, I am also a tumbler. I cheered for my local youth program until I was in 8th grade during that time I did sideline and compete with those teams. I also cheered for my middle school team for all 3 years, 6th grade I was the only one in my grade to make the team, 7th grade I decided to go out for captain against all the 8th graders and even though I failed I wanted to watch and listen to what I could do to become captain my 8th grade season. 8th grade I was lucky enough to be captain like I had worked for and I led my team to a successful season. Then in high school I was on varsity fall and winter cheer from freshman trough senior year and my senior year I got the great pleasure to be a captain and lead my team to a successful last season and I am honored to have done that and leave my mark with the underclassmen. I am currently on an colligate inaugural Acrobatics and Tumbling team at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, New Jersey. I have always been a cheerleader and it has been my passion to continue cheerleading at the colligate level. With that being said I was given the opportunity at the end of my senior year of high school to go on scholarship and build a brand new Acrobatics and Tumbling team at Georgian Court University, so I took this opportunity and I am currently at the end of my fist semester at Georgian Court but I feel as though something is missing. This has been my first football/cheer season since I was 3 that I have not cheered at a football game and I feel as though my passion for being apart of a college cheer team still needs to be fulfilled. Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me.
