I have been a cheerleader my entire life, and am now on Reign Athletics Royalty, a level 6 Worlds team. I am both a main and side base, but I prefer side basing. My highest-level tumbling pass is a roundoff whip through to full, and my best standing pass is my one or two handsprings to full. In college, I plan to study kinesiology and exercise science, and then get my master's degree in physical therapy. I want to be a physical therapist because of how much it has impacted me throughout the four injuries I have had. Last year, I tore my PCL, sprained my ACL, and burst a cyst in my right knee. I was able to make a full recovery and was back to tumbling in 5 months. Throughout all my injuries, I have persevered and regained all my cheerleading skills with the help of physical therapy. This has made me want to give back to the industry and go into this field. I work extremely hard on my academics and challenge myself with AP classes. Each night, I spend hours studying and completing homework assignments. I am a very good student and have never had an academic punishment (suspension, detention, etc). I was recently inducted into the National Honor Society for my strong academics, leadership, character, and service. I do a lot of volunteer work in my community and treat everyone I meet with kindness. I am a good candidate for your cheerleading team because of my hard work, character, and determination.
