Caileigh Altman '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been doing competition cheer since age 4, starting on a tiny team, then Mini1, Junior 1, Youth 1 and 2 (we won nationals at the One in Chicago), Junior 2 and 3, and Senior 3, some teams I crossed over in the same year.  I also was in dance from age 3-9.  I have also done school cheer since 7th grade. I have always been a flyer.  I help coach the biddy league cheer in my town and have also helped with the tiny team at my comp gym. I have been to Summit Nationals in Orlando FL twice and my Senior 3 team won 1st place in our division over 15 teams in 2019. With my school cheer team I performed at the Citrus Bowl on New Years Day 2022. Currently I just made the school cheer team for my junior year and will be trying out soon for my comp gym. I took a few years off from comp cheer d/t an injury/surgery and then was off during covid.  

I have to maintain my grades for school cheer and my coaches check our grades weekly. 

My plans for after high school are to continue my education in the dental field. I will be doing some shadowing in offices soon to see if there is a specific area I would like better or just do general.
