Hello coaches, I am a student athlete interested in cheerleading in college. I have been cheering for the last five years doing competition cheer for Hillsboro Youth Cheer (HYC) for the 2017-2018 season and competition cheer, competing in the 5A Game day division and basketball/football/ wrestling sideline cheer for Hillsboro High School's varsity cheer team. I have won the awards "Most Spirited Cheerleader" 2018-2019, "Miss All-Around cheerleader" 2019-2020, my varsity letter for the last 3 years and my team placed fifth at the OCCA state competition during the 2019-2020 cheerleading season.
As a college cheerleader I would hope to extend my cheerleading knowledge and continue my cheer career for as long as possible. I would be a great asset to every team because I am not only a team player and a hard worker but I am also very proactive. I am the type of teammate who would rather do conditioning with a teammate who is struggling than be the first person to finish to show off. When I am a part of a team it is my priority and I not only care about the team's success as a whole but the success of each individual cheerleader. And on top of that I would love to be a part of a great community.
And as for my academic goals, I plan to attend a 4-year university to study to receive my bachelors of science in psychology with a focus in Pre-Medicine and a minor in political science. After university I plan to apply for medical school and then in my residency focus on pediatric psychiatry. I am not only a dedicated cheerleader but an even more dedicated student. My education is always my number one priority and I look forward to being a part of many academic groups in college as well. Thank you.
