Shayla Moore '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Shayla Moore; I'm currently a junior, varsity cheerleader, and varsity volleyball player at Wade Hampton High School. I hold a  3.8 GPA (unweighted) and a 3.0 GPA( weighted). I have been cheering since elementary school and am very passionate about it. Although I have never cheered competitively, I was hand-selected for two All-American nominations and performed in London's New Years Day Parade. My collegiate goals after high school are to attend college and major in nursing and human biology to become a cardiothoracic surgeon. As class president for two years running and being the student social advocate for Faith Christan athletes(FCA) and an honor and dual enrollment student, I have learned how to manage school with sports and decipher what comes first, my grades. As you watch me this year and my senior year, I do not only hope to impress you athletic-wise but also characteristically and academically-wise. Hoping to hear from you soon!
