My initial collegiate goal is to obtain a degree in Biology and eventually continue on to become and Occupational Therapist to fulfill my dream of working with Special Needs kids. While pursuing my dream, I also have a desire to continue to cheer at the Collegiate level as I have had a love for the sport of cheer since I was only 5 years old. Since that time, I have cheered for recreational teams, as well as All Star teams. I have also cheered sideline and competition for my High School Varsity team since 7th grade. Cheer has been a big part of my life and it is my dream to continue to cheer throughout my college years. I believe I would prove to be an asset to any team that I am a part of as cheer has taught me the value of leadership, hard work and discipline. I always try to maintain a positive attitude and have a good influence on others. I understand that cheer is a team sport and I will be dedicated to my team and prove to be a team player in order to ensure the success for us all.
I have always been a good student but dealing with the changes and challenges of COViD did have an impact on my academics for the past couple of years, I am fully engaged and motivated to be the best that I can be both personally and academically throughout my Senior year and beyond. Although my GPA is not where I want it to be, I currently have an A in all of my current classes and intend to maintain an A in all of my classes this year which will bring up my GPA. I am excited to see what opportunities the future holds for me.
