From a very young age, I have been deeply passionate about cheerleading. Having cheered for the past ten years, I have developed a profound love and dedication for the sport. My journey began even earlier with five years of dance and gymnastics before I turned seven, as well as my track career from middle school through high school, which provided me with a strong foundation in flexibility, coordination, and rhythm. This diverse athletic background has shaped me into an all-around athlete, ready to face any challenge with determination and vigor.
One of the key qualities that make me an ideal candidate for the college cheer team is my unwavering commitment. I understand the importance of early morning practices and am always willing to rise to the occasion. Whether it requires staying extra hours after practice to perfect a routine or stepping in for another team when needed, I am always ready and willing. My dedication is not just limited to my personal improvement but extends to supporting my teammates as well. If a teammate is feeling down, I make it my mission to lift their spirits and help them regain their enthusiasm.
My commitment is further demonstrated by the fact that I cheer at Cheer Athletics Plano, despite living two hours away. This means I have traveled over 7,000 miles for cheer practice, showcasing my dedication and willingness to go the extra mile—literally. I’m up there three times a week or more making sure I become better at my craft. Additionally, I am an A student, determined to be very successful in my educational journey. Balancing rigorous academic demands with my cheer commitments has sharpened my time management skills and reinforced my dedication to excelling in all areas of my life.
Cheerleading is more than just a sport to me; it’s given me a sense of work ethic, and its my passion. I strive to give my all every single time, no matter the stakes. My goal is to be the best cheerleader I can be, pushing through any obstacles and maintaining a positive attitude. Being a role model to ones that don’t believe they can be a success cheerleader/athlete. The joy and energy I bring to cheerleading are contagious , and I am always eager to share that with my team. My experience, dedication, and passion make me an excellent candidate for the college cheer team, and I am excited about the opportunity to be part of an amazing team.
