Katelyn Turner '23 Recruiting Profile

Living in a middle to lower class home comes with its troubles. I often overcome them through sports and passion. I remember hating cheer leading when I was little saying it was "too girly", but now it's all I look forward to. I have met so many important people that have changed my perspective on life. I wouldn't be the same person without cheer. I am friendly, passionate, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and most of all competitive. I am also a firm believer in communication because you can't have a good stunt when one person isn't cooperating. My goal is to do cheer leading in college to pursue my competitive side and to be part of a cheer family.
