I started cheering in the 8th grade and immediately fell in love. Ever since my first pep rally and game I have pushed myself physically, mentally and socially to be the best I can be for my squad and myself. I have also worked on my leadership skills which helped me to be a part of the Varsity team all 4 years in HS as well as co-captain my Sophomore year and Captain my Junior and Senior year. I love the comradery that comes with being part of a team who not only cheer for the school but also for each other.
I am a main base during our stunts and am currently taking tumbling classes at a local gym. I am looking at continuing cheering/stunting in college as well as majoring in Speech Pathology.
Apart from cheer I also play tennis and do powerlifting. In tennis I was a Regional qualifier my freshman & Junior year. I began powerlifting my sophomore year and was a regional qualifier my Sophomore & Junior year. This year I am Captain of the girls team and am working to make it to State this year. I have also been a class officer my Junior and Senior year. I am currently taking 4 dual-credit classes along with all these sports and extracurricular activities while maintaining A/B honor roll and my 3.7 gpa.
